Cancellations & Right of Withdrawal

This policy explains your right to cancel an order placed with us at a distance (online, by phone or by email) under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and, for EU consumers, the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). It does not affect your separate statutory rights if goods are faulty or not as described.

Who this applies to

This right to cancel applies to consumers — individuals buying for purposes outside their trade, business or profession. It does not apply to trade or business accounts.

Your right to cancel

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason.

The 14-day cancellation period runs from the day after the day on which you (or someone you nominate, other than the carrier) receive the goods. If your order is delivered in several instalments, the period runs from the day after you receive the last item.

How to cancel

To exercise your right to cancel, you must tell us of your decision by a clear statement before the cancellation period has expired. The easiest way is to complete our Right of Withdrawal form — we’ll email you a dated copy for your records. You may use the wording of the statutory model cancellation form, but you don’t have to.

You can also contact us directly, quoting your order number:

Email: octane@coordsport.net
Phone: +44 (0)121 661 6263
Post: Co-ordSport UK, Unit 1 Cleton Business Park, Tipton, West Midlands, DY4 7TR, United Kingdom

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is enough for you to send your notice before the 14-day period has expired.

Returning the goods

If you cancel, you must send the goods back to us without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of the day you tell us you wish to cancel. The deadline is met if you send the goods back before that 14-day period has expired.

You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning — for example, parts that have been fitted, used or installed.

Your refund

If you cancel, we will refund all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery (but not any extra cost if you chose a more expensive delivery option than our standard one).

We will make the refund without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after the day we receive the goods back from you, or (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied proof of return, whichever is the earliest.

We will make the refund using the same means of payment you used for the original transaction (for example, back to your PayPal account or card), and you will not incur any fees as a result of the refund.

Exceptions

The right to cancel does not apply to goods that are made to your specification or are clearly personalised — for example, special-order items produced or sourced specifically for you. Where an exception applies to an item in your order, we will make this clear before you buy.

Faulty or incorrect goods

This cancellation policy is separate from your rights if goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose. If there is a problem with your goods, please contact us and we’ll put it right — your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.
